Skata

Skata is founded in İstanbul in 2014. Their current line-up is Engin Dağlık, Ahmetcan Gökçeer, Ali Tolga Tohumcu and Özgür Tuncer. Former members include Arif Kara and Arya Afshar. Skata usually works on eachothers materials that are based on different genres and approaces thus resulting in a fluid and flexible sound which they call “magical realism”. After performing in various Istanbul venues and being part of live recordings, the band recorded their first EP “ilk” in the fall of 2017.
